Gilgit, December 21: Shaheen Akhtar, a student of the Karakoram International University, stood third in a debate competition held among students of HEC universities.
According to details shared in a press release, the competition, held at Islamic International University in the federal capital, was participated by 60 students from some of the leading universities of Pakistan. NUML bagged the top position, followed by PIEAS at second and KIU stood third.
Other students who participated in different competitions, including trekking, included Umar Hayat, Jamal Saeed and Shehnaz Gul.
The Vice Chancellor, Professor Najma, has congratulated Shaheen Akhtar and other students for their meritorious performance.
