Letter: The beautiful Gilgit-Baltistan and Chitral

Recently I visited Chitral and then went by road to Gilgit. What I saw is beyond words, nature at its best. I have visited many countries but never saw this raw beauty. Beauty is not confined to high mountains,snow,landscape, rivers but in the people of these places.

There is a need to promote these places through media. Our channels can show dead bodies day and night but cannot put this balm of nature on our internal scars? Why?

Let us show the beauty and I am sure all the people will fall in love with it. At least I am already a victim of this love.
