Islamabad, February 26: A joint resolution, signed by Wazir Baig (in his previous tenure), Mir Ghazanfar, Chairman Aliyar, ex MDC Ijlal Hussain and ex MDC Raja Shahbaz, and a summary based on that resolution, submitted to the cabinet division for allocation of additional seat for Hunza valley has gone missing.

This was allaged by Raja Shahbaz Khan, former member of the Gilgit District Council and a former GBLA candidate, while talking to the media today. He said that bureaucrats have hidden the file and are trying to delay the process, to deprive Hunza of the additional seat in the Gilgit-Baltistan Legislative Assembly.

He also said that all the people named above had agreed in that resolution that the additional seat will be given to Gojal Valley.

Raja Shabaz urged Speaker Wazir Baig and MLA Mutabiat Shah to play their role and stop the injustice. He also said that within two or three days Prime Minister Raja Pervez Ashraf is going to notify administrative changes in the Gilgit-Baltistan region.

He accused the bureaucrats in Islamabad and Gilgit of conspiring against the rights of Hunza Valley.
