“No one will be allowed to steal resources of Gilgit-Baltistan”, Barjees Tahir

ISLAMABAD, Jul 18 (APP): Federal Minister for Gilgit Baltistan and Kashmir Affairs Chaudhry Barjees Tahir Thursday said that all resources would be utilized to maintain peace in Gilgit Baltistan. He said during a meeting with Governor Gilgit Baltistan Syed Pir Karam Ali Shah.

The minister said that no one would be allowed to steal the natural resources of Gilgit.He said that Gilgit-Baltistan was his home and expressed the desire to establish a University and modern Cardiology centre in the area to facilitate the masses. Earlier, the governor GB sought the minister’s attention to the different issues of the area and asked to make a comprehensive plan in coordination with the provincial government to resolve the issues of the people.

The governor said that sectarianism is one of the major problem of the area which could be controlled by strengthening the democracy.

He said that some elements are looting the natural resources of GB, However, he said some of them have been arrested by the authority.

Syed Pir Karam Ali Shah asked that an clear administrative structure should be given to GB.

  1. GB government should take measures to control internal corruption that exists within GB administration and jurisdiction and then should focus on issues that exists between GB and federal government.

  2. g0vernor of g.b pir karm ali saha had took a very benifitial issue of development of g.b by builiding a universitie nd other developing criterias . if any politicans gr0oup will act on this this would be very benifical for g.b because many student have al0t of trouble t0 get an education they do far away finding uni`s nd jobs etc .
