GYC threatens Ghizer-wide protests

Gilgit, August 26, 2013: The leaders of Ghizer Youth Congress (GYC) have threatened the Ghizer administration with strong district-wide protests if the detained president of GYC, Noor Akber and other activists were not immediately released and all cases withdrawn. In a media briefing, the office bearers have condemned the undemocratic and unlawful attitude of the Singal police and demanded stern actions against SHO Singal.

They have said that GYC will continue highlighting the indifferent behavior of the Government towards the basic demands of the people Ghizer.
