Hunza: A truck loaded with Chinese merchandise sank in the dammed Hunza River near Attabad spillway while being shifted from a raft. The driver and his helper swam to safety, as dozens of people standing at the spillway and on the raft stood watching helplessly. The incident occurred at around 2 O’clock today.

According to reports, the truck belonged to Javaid Hussain, the former Chairman of the Gilgit-Baltistan Chamber of Commerce and Industries.
