Fatima Sohail shines with a Gold Medal in National Sadia Khan Memorial Ski Championship 2014

Gilgit, January 28: Fatima Sohail, a rising star on the skiing horizon of Gilgit-Baltistan, grabbed the first position with a Gold Medal in the Sadia Khan National Ski Championship 2014, concluded in Naltar recently (Jan 23-25).

The Wali sister from Ghizer,  ilgit-Baltistan, popularly known as the Ski sisters, won Silver and Bronze, respectively. Amna and Ifrah were representing the Higher Education Commission, while Fatima Sohail represented Pakistan Air Force in the tournament.

There were 89 participants representing different organization. Fatima Sohail has honor of representing Pakistan at international skiing tournaments. In 2011, she represented Pakistan in SAF winter games held in India. Believing in her capacities, she is optimistic to represent Pakistan in the upcoming winter Olympics.
