Gilgit, January 30: Twenty nine (29) illegally appointed employees of the Excise and Taxation department in Gilgit-Baltistan will be shown the door in the near future.
Sources have informed that the decision to terminate services of the illegally hired employees has been made in view of an investigation report compiled by a team constituted specifically for this purpose.
There are reports that 12 employees among the 29 to-be-fired employees are officers of the Excise Police who have already been trained in Sihala. One of the alleged illegally employees is said to be the son of a former secretary.
Sources have informed that the employees will be fired after fulfillment of all the legal procedures.
