Sardar Hussain promises transparency and development in Upper Chitral

Chitral, April 14: The victory of Syed Sardar Hussain Shah has sent a wave of joys among his supporters in the Upper reaches of Chitral Valley. According to Election Commission officials, he obtained 1778 votes during the bi-elections while his rival candidate Haji Ghulam Muhammad obtained 1526 votes. Out of a total of 5032 votes, 3421 were cast by the people in 7 polling stations. The re-polling was done in accordance with a Court’s orders.
In general election of May 2013 Haji Ghulam Muhammad success with only 7 votes (leading) whose success was challenged by Sardar Hussain of Pakistan Peoples Party and election commission decided of re election on 7 polling stations. As a result Sardar Hussain elected as MPA from PK90 Chitral II.
Addressing a huge crowd of party workers and people coming from different parts of Chitral, the winner of the bi-elections Sardar Hussain said that PPP is a democratic party and that it always support poor people. He said that he contested election only to serve his people and this neglected area. Improvements in communication systems, water supply schemes, irrigation channel as well as eliminating of unemployment from their area are my priorities, he said.
He said that he will never intervene in government departments and will strictly follow merit policy. He said that we never spare any loophole for embezzlement and never forgive corrupt officials who looting national exchequers. He said that he will try of his best to get sufficient fund for his constituency as well as CM Sindh Qaim Ali Shah also has assured him of financial support. He thanked all of his voters who trust upon him and assured them that he will never disappoint them.
MPA Saleem Khan and other leaders of PPP also spoke on the occasion. They thanked all the voters and residents of the area for their support and assured of bringing green revolution in the area. A large number of people from entire district visiting residence of Srdar Hussain newly elected MPA who felicitating him and expressing their great gratitude and pleasure on his succession.
It is worth to mention here that his rival candidate Ghulam Muhammad, MNA Chitral Iftikharuddin president APML Khalid Parvez also visited his home and congratulated him on his success which is a good trend of mutual harmony.
