Hunza-Nagar: Lady doctor and driver dead in car accident, nurse injured

Hunza, May 8: A lady doctor identified as Yasmin from Karimabad (Hunza) has passed away along with her driver in a tragic road accident in the Nagar Khas area today. A nurse, identified as Lal Bano, has been critically injured in the accident, according to details. The deceased driver was identified as Sharafat, a resident of Gilgit.

Dr. Yasmeen was serving at the govt hospital in Karimabad. Born in Altit, she had been serving in the region for a very long period of time.

Sources have informed that the vehicle belonged to the Health Department and it was traveling from Ganish to Nagar Khas when the accident took place.

The injured nurse has been shifted to hospital in critical condition, sources informed.
