Gulapur: 26 years old woman jumps in a river with her three kids

Gahkuch, July 21: A woman, 26, has jumped in the Ghizar River along with her three kids, reportedly with the intention of committing a suicide and killing her children. The local people present in the area jumped in the river and saved the woman along with two of her kids. However, unfortunately, the third kid could not be saved.

The child who could not be recovered from the river has been identified as Rizwan, 2 years old. The other kids are Maria (4 months old) and Imran, 7 years old.

The reason for jumping in the river is not clear at the moment. The woman is believed to be married to a man from the Kohistan region of KPK. They are settled in Gulapur, a village located in the Punial Teshil of District Ghizar, Gilgit-Baltistan.
