Chilas: Police thrash PPP Jiyalas for chanting “Go-MehdiShah-Go”, blocking road

Chilas, October 14: Dozens of PPP Jiyalas had blocked the KKH in Chilad, the district headquarters of Diamer, and were chanting slogans against the party’s leadership yesterday. They were angry for not being taken to Karachi to attend the party’s expected mammoth gathering at the Mazar of Quaid-e-Azam.

The Jiyalas were thrashed and more than half a dozen sent behind the bars by the police.

The imprisoned Jiyalas, stalwarts, said that they were targeting on behest of the party’s leadership. They said that the party’s leaders and ministers have amassed wealth for themselves during the last many years and were not willing to support the workers.
