Complete autonomy only solution of Kashmir dispute, says JKLF leader Amanullah Khan

Gilgit, October 31: Pakistan and India will always remain in loggerheads if the Kashmir dispute is not resolved. Both countries need to develop consensus over the complete autonomy of Kashmir. World peace will remain vulnerable till resolution of the Kashmir issue.
Pakistan’s political parties do not have a clear policy toward the question of Kashmir’s status. Some consider it part of Pakistan while others consider Kashmir to be a completely separate nation, fighting for self-determination. This discrepancy is harming the Kashmir cause.
These views were expressed today by Amanullah Khan, the supreme patron of the Jammu Kashmir Liberation Front (JKLF).
He further said that there is contradiction between the wishes of the people of Kashmir and the solution envisaged in the UN resolutions.
Aman also expressed disappointment over the feeling that the people of Kashmir and Gilgit-Baltistan cannot live together. “It disheartening to hear people say that Kashmiris are cunning and the “simpletons” from GB will be at loss living with them.
He said that there are many contradictions in policies of various Pakistani parties on the status of Kashmir.
Aman Ullah Khan hails from the Astore district of Gilgit-Baltistan.
