Gilgit: Eight year old child stabbed to death and dumped near river, suspected killers arrested

Gilgit, November 11: An eight year old child who had gone missing two days back had reportedly been killed by stabbing in Gilgit. His body was recovered today from the Gilgit River. According to bone-chilling revelations made by the police, the suspected killers were arrested today with the help of CCTV footages.
Police and the parents had been searching for the boy for the last two days. His parents had also issued a notice in the regional newspapers, seeking information about whereabouts of the child.
The suspected killers have been identified as Suhail son of NIsar (resident of the Old Polo Ground area), Usama son of Meraj Khalid (Mughalpura) and Ibrar son of Mastan (Mughalpura). The child had reportedly been stabbed to death. Police have arrested the culprits with the help of CCTV footages. All of the suspected killers are in teenagers.
The police sources have said that the child may have been sexually assaulted before being killed. More revelations are expected with the passage of time as the investigation proceeds.
