Islamabad: Central Development Working Party (CDWP) has cleared the project proposal (PC-I) of Henzal power project. The PC-I will go to ECNEC for final approval. The project is estimated to cost around 6 billion rupees, and generate 20MW electricity throughout the year. It is the first run-of-the-river power project in the Gilgit-Baltistan region.
