Students express themselves through colours and sketches at SSWO  Annual Art Competition in Karachi

Karachi, February 14th 2016: Siksa Students Welfare Organization Karachi organized its annual arts competition 2016. Fifty kids under class 6th studying in different schools of Karachi participated in the annual arts competition organized at Siksa Communtiy Centre Mehmoodabad Karachi.  The kids filled the white papers with multicolored sketches  to express their thoughts through paintings.

President SSWO Karachi Tahir Ali said that the main purpose of the event was to give the young kids an opportunity to express their ideas and to promote their creative skills and I second the thoughts of Abby Willowroot that Art speaks the soul of a culture .

Principle Government. Girls College Skardu, Miss Nilofer Khan, Captain Mohsin Mongol and senior Teacher Haji Ghulam Abbas were the key guests at the event.

Mrs. Nilofer Khan Principal Government Girls College Skardu in her address to the students said, “with the growing intolerance and fear due to uncertain security situations in the society the children need  necessarily  to be engaged in such productive activities.”

Captain Mohsin Mongol and senior teacher Haji Ghulam Abbas also appreciated the high level of discipline and creative work of the young students.

The painting competition was jointly organized by the boys and girls wing of SSWO Karachi.
