Houses of two militants demolished in Darel Valley
Gilgit/Chilas: Diamer district administration and Police have today demolished two houses in Darel Valley. The demolished houses reportedly belonged to militant ‘commanders’ Hazrat Noor and Shah Faisal Khalil, son of Karim Khan, said a Diamer Police official. The houses have been demolished two days after the death of Hazrat Noor.
Two soldiers and three ‘terrorists’ were killed in an encounter on Thursday 17th of March in the Giyaal village of Darel Valley, during an intelligence-based raid conducted by the Pakistan Army. A militant commander, Hazrat Noor, was among the deceased.
There are reports that the commander Hazrat Noor blew himself up when he was surrounded by the forces. Two girls were also injured during the raid.
Meanwhile, the police have registered cases against Commander Shah Faisal Khalil, Musa, Amir Hamza, Amir Muawiya and Basheer. They have been held responsible for the attack on the armed forces in which two soldiers were killed and two more were injured.
