The schedule of elections for the Gilgit-Baltistan Council has been announced. Important dates are given below:

(1) 28/3/16 – Public Notice By Returning Officer Inviting Nomination Papeprs.
(2) 29/3/16 and 30/3/16 – filling Of Nomination Paper With The Returning Officer.
(3) 31/3/16 – Scrutiny Of Nomination Papers.
(4) 1/4/16 – Filling Of Appeals Against Rejection Of The Nomination Papers With The Chief Election Commisnr GB.
(5) 2/4/16 – Disposal Of Appeals By Chief Election Commissioner GB.
(6) 3/4/16 – Last Date For Withdrawal Of Candidature.
(7) 3/4/16 – Publication Of List Of Candidates.
(8) 7/4/16 –  POLL DAY.
