Gojal: AKUEB affiliated Al-Amyn Model School announces 96% results, admission cycle begins
Gulmit: Al-Amyn Model School, a community based school located in Gulmit, the headquarters of Gojal Tehsil, today announced annual results for the year 2015-16. The results ceremony was attended by students, parents and village notables. 96 % of the school’s students were able to make it to the next grades.
Speaking at the occasion, Mr.Muhammad Nabi (ADIS) and Afzal Khan, President of GESWS, said that the school is playing a leading role in promotion of quality education in the region. They said that affiliation with AKU Education Board will boost the quality of teaching and learning at the school, enabling higher number of students to excel in their professions.
The Al-Amyn Model School, built and operated for the last two decades by the locals, has also announced admission cycle for different grades. It is the only school in Gojal Valley affiliated with the AKUEB.
Equipped with subject specialist teachers, a state of the art hostel, the school offers admission from ECD to 9th grade, said Principal Nazir Ahmad Bulbul on the result day.
