MoU signed for establishment of Gilgit-Baltistan Medical College
Islamabad: A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) was signed today between the government of Gilgit-Batlistan and the management of Pakistan Institute of Medical Sciences, affiliated with the Shaheed Zulfiqar Ali Bhutto Medical University regarding the establishment of Gilgit-Baltistan’s first medical college.
The signing ceremony was performed by Vice Chancellor Professor Javed Ikram and GB Secretary for Health Rasheed Ali in the presence of Chief Minister Hafiz Hafeezur Rehman.
On completion, the GB Medical College will be the first of its kind institute in the region’s history.

Good initiation towards GB development. We appreciate the efforts of political leadership and management for taking interest in innovative interventions in GB. The question arises here is when it will be materialized and make the college functional.
