Islamabad: The Pakistan Atomic Energy Commission (PAEC) is establishing two a cancer hospital in Gilgit, and another in Mardan. This was stated by PAEC Chairman Muhammad Naeem while addressing an awareness seminar on breast cancer in Islamabad.
The Chairman said that eighteen PAEC medical centers were already operational across the country. He assured that all resources will be mobilized to meet the requirements of cancer hospitals.
Speaking on the occasion, Foreign Secretary Aizaz Ahmad Chaudhary emphasized the need for creating awareness among people about all types of cancers including breast cancer.
