G-B Police arrest “RAW funded anti-CPEC agents”, confirms Foreign Oiifice spokesperson

ISLAMABAD: Foreign Officer of Pakistan has confirmed that G-B Police arrested six agents funded by Indian intelligence Agency RAW.

The agents were funded by RAW to sabotage China Pakistan Economic Corridor.

During the weekly press briefing the FO spokesperson Nafees Zakria stated that office knows about the development and further investigation is underway. “We have confirmed with Gilgit-Baltistan authorities that the agents were arrested and their main mission was to sabotage the CEPC,” said Zakria.

“India is clearly interfering in internal matters of Pakistan and trying to spread anarchy in the country,” FO spokesperson added.

Furthermore he mentioned arrested RAW agent Kulbhushan Jhadav and stated that our agencies have exposed Indian intervention before and will keep on doing it. “Jhadav was interrogated extensively and a dossier based on the information given by Indian spy has been handed over to UN,” mentioned Zakria.

On a tip-off Gilgit-Baltistan police foiled the plan to affect the CPEC on January 18. IG Police Zafar Iqbal Aiwan told media that all men are local, belong to nationalist Balawaristan National Front (BNF) and are being funded by RAW.

“A money trail of Rs 300-350 million was also traced, used to purchase weapons and properties,” Aiwan stated.
