NGO starts teacher training session in Astore

Giglit: (PR) Central Asia Institute, an NGO, started teacher training session in Pakora area of District Astore in collaboration with Paradise Educational Network.

Sher Afzal, Assistant Commissioner Tehsil Shounte, was the chief guest of the opening ceremony. In his speech he appreciated CAI Gilgit for intervening in such remote areas and supporting the educational system by imparting training to the teachers. He assured that the administration will offer any assistance needed for promotion of education in the region.

Also present at the occasion were, Mr. Nazir Ahmed President Paradise Network, Mr. Nusrat Ullah chaifman iqra welfare Organization, Mr. Hajat Mir Chairman Minhaj Public School Astore and Mr. Saidullah Baig Chief Executive Officer Central Asia Institute Gilgit.

This was the second session of the winter teacher training 2017. for more then 55 female teachers only from Astore region. The first session for 85 teachers from Brughil, Diamer, Hunza, Ghiza and Gilgit has been concluded on 20th, Jan 2017 in Gilgit.
