Rescue 1122 to be made functional in Hunza and Nagar before June, Secretary Home Gilgit Baltistan Ahsan Bhutta

Hunza (Jan 29):  The 7-day training course on dealing disasters and emergencies concluded in Hunza.   The training was organized by Rescue 1122 in collaboration with district administration Hunza. The training was attended by levies of district administration, civil defense personnel and volunteers of Focus.  The participants were trained in rescue techniques, climbing mountains, dealing accidents, emergency evacuation, basic life support first aid and fire safety.

Secretary Home Gilgit Baltistan Ahsan Bhutta assured to establish Rescue 1122 offices in Hunza and Nagar districts before June. He appreciated the proactive role of the local volunteers in dealing Attabad and other disasters.
