Chitral: Seven workers have died after a workshop of Lowari Tunnel was buried by an avalanche near Lowari tunnel on Sunday. Local people and rescuers recovered seven workers alive while rescue was underway to recover three missing worker. Six of the recovered workers were described as being in a critical condition.
Those dead were identified as Rehmat Zada from Drosh, Ahmed aka Alyas from Darosh, Nadeem from Punjab, Jalal from Dumel, Haji Iftikhar from Punjab. The injured workers identified as Altaf from Laya Punjab, Gul Alam from Chitral, Mujeeb from Dumel Arundu, Zamrad Hussain from Gujar Khan, Qaiser from Sialkot, Bahadur Wali from Chitral were shifted to DHQ hospital in Dir.
