Gilgit, Feb 28: An Anti-Terrorism Court on Tuesday awarded death sentence to Syed Hidayat Hussain and fined him Rs300,000 for his involvement in the murder of Abdul Wakeel on 7th Jan 2012 in Gilgit.
ATC- Judge Judge Raja Shahbaz Khan sentenced Imran Hussain to 27 years and 1 month in prison and fined him Rs100,000 in the same case.
Two others accused Sajid Hussain and Imran Haider in this case were acquitted during the hearing.
It is here to mention that this murder had resulted in the killings of over 50 people in Kohistan and other parts of Gilgit-Baltistan.
