Local protesters block Babusar Road in Thak Nallah, leaving travelers in a lurch

Chilas: Hundreds of tourists coming down the Babusar Top were stuck inside their vehicles for several hours as locals of the area protested, blocking the road.

A large number of people had come out on the roads to demand release of some activists of a youth group who have been detained by the police.

Tourists complained against the road blockade on various social media forums, demanding safe passage for people who visit the region to enjoy the beauty and calmness.
