Diamer youth demand action against murderers of couple and their daughter

Islamabad: A group of youth from the Diamer district of Gilgit-Baltistan protested outside the National Press Club today, demanding action against murderers who heinously shot a family of three people to death in the name of honor.

Holding placards, the youth appealed to the Chief Justice of Pakistan to take notice of the barbaric so-called “honor killing”in Batagram district of KPK.

The youth said that the woman belonging to Gilgit-Baltistna’s Thor valley had married a man out of her free will, and they had a daughter together. All three of the family members were shot dead while they were asleep inside their house.
