University of Baltistan interviews 18 candidates for PhD scholarships

Islamabad: (PR) Keeping in view the requirement of qualified faculty for the newly established University of Baltistan, a handsome amount was specified  in the PC-I for the foreign PhD and M.Phil Scholarships. Higher Education Commission has advertized the said eighteen scholarships for PhD and ten scholarship for M. Phil degree programs and the test was conducted for said positions by HEC. The Interviews of successful candidates were conducted in Islamabad and interview session was completed in two days.

The Vice Chancellor University of Baltistan Prof. Dr. Muhammad Naeem Khan chaired the interview panel, the members of HEC and renowned subject specialists of different Universities in which Islamic international University, Capital University of Science  & Technology, PIDE, Fatima Jinnah women University, Quaid Azam University, National Center of Physics, PIEAS, NUMS, COMSATS University, Arid Agriculture University were the member of the panel. The selected candidates will complete their PhD degree from different International Universities.

After completion of their PhD degree they will serve the University of Baltistan, Skardu. This initiative will surely enhance the quality of education in the University for the long run.
