“Toy bomb dropped during Kargil War” injures two kids in Kharmang’s border area

Two boys, 10 and 12 years old, were injured when a toy bomb they reportedly picked exploded.

According to details, the kids found a toy on a hill in Ghusel village of Kharmang district, which shares borders with Indian occupied Kashmir. The kids reportedly picked the toy, which exploded, leaving both injured.

Both kids received first aid at a Basic Health Unit in the locality and were later shifted in a chopper of the Pakistan Army to the Combined Military Hospital (CMH), SKardu, said Sarwar Sikandar, a local reporter.

Assistant Commissioner of Kharmang has said that the toy bomb was dropped by the Indian Army in the border area during the Kargil war. He has said that there might be more toy bombs in the area, which need to be searched and defused.
