Pakistan Association of Tour Operators (PATO) elects new cabinet


ISLAMABAD: (PR) Pakistan Association of Tour Operators (PATO) elections were held on 9th February at Flashman’s Hotel Rawalpindi. Tour operators from all over Pakistan participated in large number in this annual gathering. Sajjad Shah President and Asgha Ali Porik, General Secretary of outgoing Cabinet presented progress report of year 2017-2018.

Later on various members of PATO presented their recommendations to solve different issues faced by the private sector tour operators in Pakistan. In the last session of meeting elections were held and following were elected as members of new governing body of PATO:

Maqsood Ul Mulk as President, Sadar ud Din as General Secretary, Muhammad Umar as Joint Secretary, Khawaja Jehanzeb as Vice President Sindh, Mohsin Paracha as Vice President Balochistan, Assad Ali Shah as Vice President KP, Tayyab Syed as Vice President Punjab, Asghar Ali as Vice President Gilgit Baltistan, Malik Azmat Hussain as Vice President Islamabad /Rawalpindi. Following were elected as member of executive committee, Ali Usman, Liver Khan, Najeeb Ahmad Khan, Arif Tufail, Akbar Aleem Chaudhry, Atta ul Haq, Qaisar Khan, Shuja Farid, Muhammad Ali.

Raja Maqpoon served as Election Commisioner and Aftab Rana, Karar Haidri and Mehmood Malik were members of election commission of PATO
