Scouts’ camp concluded in Dorkhun, Hunza

Hunza, October 20: A five-day training camp for Scouts concluded in Dorkhun Hunza. The participants made commitments that they will implement the training learning in their practical lives. The camp was organised by Boy Scouts Group, Dorkhun under the supervision of Northern Areas Boy Scouts Association (NABSA). The master trainers Hassan Wali and Safdar facilitated the scouts in learning different skills important for a successful Scout leader.
A total of 40 Scouts and Rovers from Murtazaabad, Aliabad, Hyderabad, Dorkhun and Gareth successfully completed the Tanzeem, Yaqeen and Hamdam Badges. The guests present during the closing ceremony urged the scouts to be role models for youth and play a positive role in the overall development of the local community.
The Scouts demanded that the NABSA shall play an active role in provision of training opportunities to the Scouts at national and international levels, as well.
