Our Correspondent
Gilgit, October 9: People of Gilgit-Baltistan, including political and social leaders, have expressed anger about the reported cancellation of a strategic road project that was to connect Skardu and Jaghlote.
Political leaders, including Chief Minister Mehdi Shah, Minister for Works Bashir Khan, Minister for Food and Agriculture Wazir Jafar and others have condemned the “cancellation”, demanding reversal of the decision.
The road projects has, reportedly, fallen prey to bureaucratic shenanigans. The negative role of a Federal Secretary is, especially, being highlighted in this regard.
