Rousing welcome for Samina Baig and Mirza Ali in Hunza Valley

Aliabad/Gulmit, June 29: Thousands of people came out in different villages of Hunza valley to welcome the conquror of Mount Everest, Samina Baig and her brother Mirza Ali, on their arrival in their native valley.
Lined up on both sides of the road, the people welcomed her open heartedly and with jubiliation in Aliabad, Gulmit and other villages of the region. Programmes were held in Aliabad and Gulmit, in which a large number of people appreciated Samina Baig for becoming the first Pakistani woman to conquer the world’s highest mountain.
Glowing tributes were also paid to Samina’s brother and mentor, Mirza Ali, and her family for supporting her during the mission.
Commitment, determination and optimism-Samina Baig is a new role model for the progressive youth of GB.
The sister brother duo deserve appreciation and admiration. we all are proud of their success and the glory they brought
to us. All of us should stand united to extol the extra ordinary accomplishment from the duo.
