[Breaking News] Gilgit-Baltistan Works Minister Fired, PPP-PMLQ alliance comes to an end

Gilgit: The Chief Minister of Gilgit-Baltistan Syed Mehdi Shah has fired Works Minister Basheer Khan from his position. He has also been removed from the cabinet.

Bashir belongs to PMLNQ. The Chief Minister also announced an end to its alliance with the PMLQ.

The CM has said that the decision can be reversed if the leaders of PMLQ, Mirza Hussain, Bashir Ahmad Khan and Amna Ansari render written apologies for making anti-government statements it the regional assembly.

In response, PMLQ leaders have said that the coalition government is involved in corruption and the demands for inquiry have not been entertained.

Mirza Hussain of PMLQ said that his party will never apologize for his statements which, he said, were based on facts.
