KKH Flooded near Ghulkin Gojal

Ghulkin, May 22: The Karakuram Highway has been blocked for all types of traffic because of massive flooding near the Ghulkin Glacier. Agricultural land, orchards and other property of the local people have been destroyed because of the flood. The source of the water is not very apparent. The water is coming out from some hidden source inside the ground, unlike the past when floods were caused by the outburst of glacial lakes.

No damage has been caused to human lives and houses, fortunately, contrary to what was reported by certain segments of the national press.
