Gilgit, September 1: A court today dismissed a case against four youth belonging to different villages of Gojal Valley, upper Hunza, who had arrested and later released on bail by police in Gilgit, in February 2010.

According to details, Judge Amna Zameer dismissed a case against Asif Khan (Gircha), Ali Anwar (Gulmit), Jahangir Shah (Misgar), Ahmad Karim (Gulmit), and Aslam Pervez (Chipursan Valley), and acquitted them of all the charges.

A case against them had been registered by police in the third week of February 2010 when a group of protesters from the disaster hit Gojal Valley had staged a protest demonstration in front of the Chief Secretary office in Gilgit.

The youth, talking to Pamir Times, thanked the court for acquitting them of the charges leveled against them.
