Counter Terrorism Department Gilgit arrests suspect, recovers two hand grenades

Gilgit: An Operational Team headed by Sher Alam of the Counter Terrorism Department has, on a tip off, recovered two hand grenades from a shop and arrested a man in Sonikot area of Gilgit, possibly thwarting an act of terrorism.

The detained suspect, face covered in the photographs, has been identified as Khair Ullah, a resident of Sonikot, Gilgit.

Further investigation is underway, and more revelations are being expected.
