Torrential Rainfall: Roads to Giglit-Baltistan, Chitral, blocked

The Karakoram Highway has been blocked at multiple locations due to landslides and boulder-slips caused by torrential rainfall. Some glacial streams and waterfalls have also been flooded on the KKH according to multiple sources.
Assistant Commissioner of Hunza District has advised passenegers traveling to the Gojal Valley of Hunza to take precautionary measures to avoid any mishaps due to reports of landslide and rockfall the area.
The road to Chitral has reportedly been flooded near the Lawari tunnel, according to passengers.
