Gilgit city, located at the cross roads of Ghizer, Nagar, Hunza, Diamer and Astore, is the GB region’s largest city. It is the regional government’s seat of government, as well as a historical settlement hosting around 200,000 individuals. It is the most heterogeneous city of Gilgit-Baltistan region, home to people from different cultures, faiths and socio-economic background.  Here are some recent night photographs of the sprawling mountain city.
