Dry Port Trust Meeting held in Gulmit, Gojal

Gulmit –  A meeting of stakeholders of SRDP- SOST was held in Gulmit Gojal. Former Vice Chairman of the port trust, Mirza Hassan, presented financial report of his tenure to the meeting participants. He said that he had a clean record and was ready to face any allegations leveled against him.

The meeting resolved that elections of the trust would be organized ‘at any cost’ during the month of March. A large number of landowners and stakeholders from various villages participated in the meeting.

Let’s remind the readers that Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan, Chairman of the port trust, has ‘legally’ blocked all efforts for holding elections of the trust in the past.
