FOCUS organizes Disaster Awareness Programme for Local Community

Hunza, April 20: The FOCUS team of Local Council Gulmit has organized Community-based Disaster Risk Management Awareness Programme for the local community. The main objective of this programme is to create awareness among local community about disasters and local level institutional mechanisms to cope disaster situations.

The first session was conducted in Goze jamat Khana, which will be replicated to all 13 Jamat Khana from Ayeenabad to Passu.   

Saifuddin and Shamim from Gulmit VERT are conducting the sessions.
