Potato harvest starts in Central Hunza

By: Zulfiqar Ali Khan

Hunza, July 16: High market price has attracted local farmers to harvest the major cash crop earlier than the normal harvesting time in Hunza valley. The market price is fluctuating between Rs. 1,500 to 1,800.

The yield of the crop is also good. However,  due to higher fertiliser prices the farmers had allocated less land for potato crop this year.
