Golden Jubilee Pipe Band from Chipursan touring Gojal

Gulmit, July 8: The newly formed Golden Jubilee Pipe Band of Chipursan valley started its weeklong tour of different villages of Gojal valley, as part of the Golden Jubilee celebrations of the Imamat of His Highness the Aga Khan. Yesterday they visited and entertained the Jamat at Ghulkin and Shishat, before coming to Gulmit, in the evening.
They condoled the death of Bibi Maujeen and seeked permission from the family, according to our golden traditions, and then performed in the Gulmit Polo Ground. The Chipursan Pipe Band was formed last year and they impressed the Jamat with their wonderful performance.
Congratulation to the newly formed Pipe Band of Chiporson valley. definatly Silver Jubilee Band Gulmit helped them to acheive this stage, cong…agian for the 2nd Pipe Band in Gojal.
