CE NAs congratulates Zardari

Gilgit, Sep 7: The Chief Executive of Northern Areas Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan congratulated Asif Ali Zardari on his election as President of Islamic Republic of Pakistan.

Mir Ghazanfar Ali Khan, while talking to APP said that his election would prove a milestone in strengthening the democratic institutions and norms in the country.

“Let me extend wholehearted congratulation on behalf of the people of region, members of the Northern Areas Legislative Assembly, cabinet members on this historic day,” Mir Ghazanfar said.

He said that besides other political parties, the people of NAs also extended their full support to Asif Ali Zardari.

He hoped that under the dynamic leadership of Asif Ali Zardari, the country

would stride towards progress, prosperity and successfully meet the challenges it is facing today. 

He said, Asif Ali Zardari has the credit of fully restoring the democracy in the country and pushing back the forces of dictatorship.

Following the trends set up by BB, Zardari would definitely take effective steps for the resolution of all genuine grievances of the deprived segments of Northern Areas.

The CE urged all the political parties to come forward and joined hand with the government in finding the solution of inflation, poverty, energy shortage and unemployment. 

He stressed the need for taking concrete steps to ensure political stability and democracy in the country that is inter-linked with economic progress.
