[Pamir Yatra] The water bomb of Pamir!

In 1911 a mega landslide blocked flow of the Marghab River in Tajikistan. The damming led to creation of the world’s largest landslide lake, 60 kilometer long and 500 meters deep.

Zulfiqar Ali Khan in his latest Pamir Yatra piece presents a pictorial account of how the people displaced due to this lake have been rehabilitated by the Tajik government.
