SPO donates medical supplies worth 1 million rupees to 10 dispensaries in Chitral

Chitral, December 7: Strengthening Participatory Organization (SPO) has donated medical equipments for improvement of 10 Civil dispensaries of Chitral district. The donated equipments were distributed among the staff of these dispensaries at a ceremony held in Chitral town today. The ceremony was attended by Executive District Officer Health(EDO H) Dr. Sher Qayum, chief guest, Deputy DHO Dr. Saad Maluk, District TB control officer Dr. Noorul Islam, Dr. Salahuddin of AKHSP, Dr. Yaqub, Dr. Shujat, and Professor Shamsunnazar, among others.
Ajaz Durrani program specialist of SPO said that his organization was working in different districts and supports government running health outlets and education institution for their improvements and long term benefit of local community and to support the federal and provincial government for provision of best services to its inhabitants. He said that the equipments being donated are worth 1 million rupees.
Equipments donated to the dispensaries include, beds, mattresses, blankets, pillows, furniture, syringes, Thermometers, Dressing Tray, Drum, rubber gloves, knife handle, surgical blades, needle suturing, scissor sharp, torch, electric sterilizer, dental set, plan forceps, tooth forceps, needle holder, tongue depressor, weight machine, bowl and examination coach etc.
A large number of representatives of civil societies and members of district monitoring committees attended the equipment handing over ceremony. Besides other EDO Health Dr. Sher Qayum, Engineer Temur Shah, Ghulam Hazrat Advocate president district Bar association, M.I. Khan Sarhadi Chairman district Zakat committee, Professor Ghani, Dr. Noorul Islamand other spoke on the occasion, thanking SPO for the help.
