No Kashmiri Flag on GB Secretariat: CM Media Cell

Gilgit, February 3: Faced with unprecedented opposition from public and politicians, the Chief Minister of Gilgit – Baltistan has reversed the decision of hoisting Kashmiri flag on GB Secretariat.

According to a press statement issued by the media cell, the Chief Minister will participate in Solidarity Day events to be held in Muzaffarabad.

The Solidarity Day events planned to be held at GB Secretariat have also been called off.

The press statement has also said that symbolic hoisting of Kashmiri flag was politicized by some people.
