Islamabad, February 10: The differences among the ruling Pakistan People’s Party on the appointment of Justice Rana has deepened. The People’s Student Fedration has announced to launch agitation movement under the slogan “Dismiss CM Mehdi Shah and save Gilgit Baltistan”. The first protest demonstration in this regard will be held on 14th February in front of Parliament House in Islamabad.
Nationalist parties and other students organizations have also assured PSF of their unconditional support for the agitation movement.
The Chairman PSF Gilgit Baltistan(Punjab Zone) Babu Astori told media that people of the region were not satisfied and party image was damaged by the bad performance of the provincial government.
He said that KSO, BNSO, MSF, PYO and other organizations would take part in protest demonstration to be held on 14th of this month.
Meanwhile provincial Finace Minister Muhammad Ali Akhtar, Adviser to Prime Minister Wazir Ebadat and Adviser to CM Manzoor Bagoro have urged the government to satisfy the party workers by addressing their reservations on the appointment in Supreme Appellate Court.
Talking to media they said that uncertainity could not end till the government reviewe its decesions.
Muhammad Ali Akhtar revealed that a delegation of PPP GB would soon meet with PM to apprise him the concern of the people on the appointment of nonlocal judge.
