Man caught with two repeater guns smuggled to Gilgit

Gilgit, February 17: Police in Gilgit have arrested a man with two repeater rifles.
According to details, the Gilgit police arrested a man identified as Sultan Mehmood, resident of Skarkoi, after an informer spotted him with guns. SHO Sher Khan along with some other officials conducted a raid and took Sultan into custody for possessing illegal guns.
It has been learnt that the guns had been smuggled into Gilgit through a “Goods Forwarding Agency”. Police also raised the Goddown of the said company but no other weapon could be recovered from there.
